Getting Paid

How invoice payments work

Fouuunt lets your clients pay invoices online through Stripe. Connect a Stripe account once, then enable payments on any invoice. When a client pays, the invoice is marked as Paid automatically.

Setting up payments

1. Connect your Stripe account. Open your account settings and connect Stripe. The account stays yours — balances, payouts, and statements are all managed from your own Stripe dashboard.

2. Create an invoice and turn on "Accept payments". Every invoice has an "Accept payments" toggle in the editor. Turn it on so your client can pay that invoice online by card or bank transfer.

3. Share the invoice. Send your client the invoice link, or let them open it from a shared project. They don't need an account to view or pay it.

4. Get paid. As soon as your client completes payment, the invoice is marked as Paid automatically, and you're notified by email and in the app.

Getting paid

Each payable invoice shows a "Pay with card" button, plus "Pay with bank (ACH)" where available. Payment is completed on Stripe's secure checkout, where your client pays the exact invoice amount and receives an email receipt.

Timing, payouts and refunds

Card payments are confirmed instantly. ACH bank transfers take roughly 4–5 business days to clear, and the invoice is marked as Paid only once the funds arrive.

Payments are deposited into your own Stripe account, and payouts to your bank follow the schedule you set in Stripe. Refunds are issued from your Stripe dashboard — a full refund returns the invoice to Unpaid.

A failed or abandoned checkout leaves the invoice unchanged, and your client can try again at any time.
